Skin by Kim utilizes the Face Reality Acne Program which specializes in treating moderate to severe-inflamed, non-inflamed and combination acne. It has a clear-skin system that will have your acne under control in about three to four months, depending on your type of acne. The program combines the power of clinical-grade home-care products that are customized for your type of acne and skin with a series of bi-monthly or monthly treatments that will help clear up your skin.

You will also learn about other aggravating factors that make you break out – foods, medications, cosmetics, stress, and common ingredients in skin care formulations that might be clogging your pores.

The Process

  • Consultation

    The first step to clear skin begins with a virtual or in-person consultation. You'll complete an intake form before your appointment, and we'll spend time talking about what Acne is, your skin type and Acne type, and lifestyle factors that may be contributing. We'll conduct a sensitivity test and determine the proper home care regimen for you.

  • Homecare

    Your home care regimen is the most crucial part of the program, as your success is directly tied to you doing your routine every day, morning, and night! You will also receive an informational packet on your new products and how to use them, lifestyle considerations, and a list of pore-clogging ingredients to check against everything you currently use.

  • Treatment

    Treatments help your acne heal much quicker. They consist of an enzyme and or a peel, extractions , high frequency, and LED light therapy. If you cannot come in for treatments, we'll need to do virtual check-ins to monitor your progress, address any concerns and adjust your home care routine.
